The Land of Coins (両の国, Ryō no Kuni, Viz: Coin Country) is a wealthy island nation located on the Shijin continent. Despite it's small size, the country boasts considerable influence in the region—it acts as an official mint for foreign currency and even houses a secure vault with the highest concentration of gold in the world. The nation's government is made up of corporate business-people, bankers and affluent individuals with one common objective—money. Of all the other lands, the Coin Country has the most significant gathering of millionaires and billionaires in the world, resulting in a noticeable division between rich and poor. It's government leader is called the President (大統領, Daitōryō) but is sometimes referred to as daimyō.

- Although coin in Japanese is generally "kōka" (硬貨), the kanji occasionally used for the Land of Coins is the symbol for "ryō" (両).
- Ryō is the currency used in the Naruto world. It is based on an old Japanese gold coin that was used in Japan before the Meiji period. Ryō was eventually replaced with a system based on the yen.
