The Land of Hours (時の国, Toki no Kuni) is a small country located near the Land of Earth. The country is led by the Toki Daimyo, or Time Feudal Lord. It was originally founded by the Sakamoto clan, and became a base of operations for the Peacekeepers group. The Land of Time is home to Tokeigakure, or the Hidden Clock Village, where shinobi often learn Time Release. The land is very small, and also contains a very small population, yet it is extremely wealthy. Various shinobi nations have tried invading the country, but its hidden village has produced extremely powerful shinobi which can counter attacking forces. On top of this, the nation is under protection from the Land of Earth, although they must pay a tax to the land in exchange for protection.

The Land of Hours often does not involve itself with any wars, and stays silent. They help out the Land of Earth and Iwagakure, from the shadows, but usually don't interact with others unless it is for important events. The Time Daimyō has also made very strict laws around travel through the village, and outsiders are only authorized if they receive permission from the daimyō. They are also often escorted by Tokeigakure shinobi, and if they attempt anything bad, the country has authorization to imprison them. Because of its neutrality, it is also used as an area to negotiate agreements between the five shinobi countries, as well as the five villages. Since the land is very peaceful, fighting is not permitted, so if any of the five nations attempt any form of violence, they will be immediately imprisoned.

The Land of Hours is positioned to the bottom left of the Land of Earth, with Ishigakure to the left, with an unknown large border between the two. Below it is the same border, with the Land of Wind on the other side. On the left of it, there is a vast sea, positioned between the Land of Water and Land of Lightning.

Tokeigakure

Tokeigakure (時計隠れの里, Tokeigakure no Sato, English TV: "Village Hidden in the Clocks" or "Hidden Clock Village", literally meaning: Village Hidden by Clocks) is the hidden village of the Land of Hours. Although it is not a member of the Five Great Shinobi Countries, Tokeigakure has a Kage as its leader known as the Taimukage, of which there have been four in its history. Konoha resides within a large plain on top of a mountain known as the Clock Mountain, which is filled with various clocks each serving a different purpose and meaning.

Time Temple

The Time Temple (時の寺, Toki no Tera, literally meaning: Temple of Time) is a small ninja temple modeled after the Fire Temple. Only the wisest and strongest of the land's shinobi are allowed to live within the temple, and almost all of them are over seventy years old. Here they earn the renowned title of the Land of Hours, ninja monk. The temple is known to house some of the strongest ninja in the shinobi world, and they act as advisors to the Taimukage and Time Daimyō. They only come out in combat when absolutely necessary.
