Land of Recoil

The Land of Recoil.

Land of Recoil (跳の国, Handō no Kuni) is a small nation located near to the Land of Sound. Its borders contributed to the existence of only an open connection to the sea. The Land of Recoil is not large, but in its northern end its natural geography formed a kind of depression, surrounded by mountains that created a natural trim that would protect its interior from possible attacks from the south or from the open sea. This natural geological deformation is known as Ditch of Death (死の溝, Shi no Mizo) or Air Retreat (空気退却, Kūki Taikyaku).

The Jump Bamboo Ring (飛び竹輪, Tobi Chikuwa) is a regional specialty of the Land of Recoil. The bamboos of the Land of Recoil are said to be the best in the world and thus say that the taste of this dish is unique.

Tobikakurenai Village[]

Tobikakurenai Village (跳び隠れないの里, Tobikakurenai no Sato, Literally meaning: Village not Hidden by Flight) is a shinobi village located in the Land of Recoil. It is not known exactly when the village was created, since most of the early records of the village was lost after a fire that completely destroyed the Tobi Archive Library, but it is it is known that the village already existed before Hashirama Senju's death.

Sky Temple[]

The Sky Temple (空ノ寺, Sora no Tera) is the sacred and large ninja temple or shinobi monastery, home to the ninja monks of the Land of Recoil. It was particularly famous among ninja temples among the small nations.
