Land of yang yang

The Land of Yang.

The Land of Yang (陽の国, Yō no Kuni), formerly known as the Land of This (祖の国, So no Kuni), is a country that borders the Land of Fire, Land of Rivers, and the Land of Yin. It was previously taken over by the Land of That with the help of the Akatsuki. Following the ending of the Fourth Shinobi World War, the country would regain it's independence from the Land of That through the efforts of the Fire Daimyō, one of his first acts. To maintain this new independence, the country would sign a treaty with its longtime enemy, an event known as the Yin-Yang union (団結の陰陽, Danketsu no Inyō). The two nations would rebrand themselves as a testament to this new alliance though there are still tensions between them.

It is known as a resting stop for travelers and the village has established a decent economy from it's various shops. Following the invasion of the Land of That, it became a place of much unrest and conflict, becoming a battleground for the revolting people of the Land of This. Since the election of Chiyo Tomoye as the Yang Daimyō, the village has seen many advancements and a growing economy.
