Lightning Release: Stinging Touch is a useful jutsu used to paralyze opponents though it has several other applications.Unlike what the name implies,physical contact with the opponent is not neccesary to pull of the jutsu.However,the further you are from the opponent when using this attack,the weaker it becomes.It can be released in a variety of ways making it a highly versatile and popular jutsu among shinobi.The technique allows the user to release surges of electricity from any point of their body either individually or all at once to act as a defense.It has many practical applications and is usually taught to genin near their graduation.The intensity of the jutsu,with training,can be controlled so as to either sting the opponent or electrocute him.It can also be used as,demonstrated by Kannin,to enhance electronic devices by releasing a small surge of electricity.
