This jutsu is a variant of the Front Lotus. The user kicks the opponent into the air and follows close behind them like a shadow. While in the air, the opponent may attempt to user attack the user, but will expect it and block before countering with a backhand strike to the face, a punch to the gut to send the opponent downwards, and final blow of a heel drop onto the ground.

Trivia

• In the Clash of Ninja series, Kakashi can perform this jutsu by copying it with his Sharingan.
• Sasuke used this technique before the preliminary rounds of the Chūnin Exams, as shown in Karin's flashback. This could mean that he copied the moves and fit them together when Lee was about to use the Front Lotus on him.
• In Naruto Shippūden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2, Sasuke performs a version of this technique where instead of ending with a kick, he finishes with a Chidori.
