By coating metallic coins with magnetic chakra, the user is able to propel them at high speeds towards an opponent. By adjusting the speed and angle at which the coins are fired, it is possible to knock out a target or kill them. Because coins are used instead of shuriken, it is much easier to use this technique when those weapons would be confiscated or attract unwanted attention.
Shuriken or specially designed blades can substitute the coins to increase the lethality of this technique.
