Majonomori Forest (魔女の森, Majo no mori, Lit Meaning: Witch forest) is one of the big six unexplored sage regions, a legendary place that is equally famous as the others, Hyōkaidō, Black Dragon Cove, Island of Bakeneko Tribe, Bewitching Silk Forest and Silk Forest of Submission. It is the residence of the Frog Leaf and Owls — including the Frog Sage — who resides and rules the entirety of the forest — and is also where shinobi's from Land of Fruit go to learn Senjutsu.

Journey to Majonomori Forest takes only a couple of days from Yukishiogakure, a week or two from Sugigakure, six weeks to a month from Winter City. The frogs and Owls that reside in the forest would often test those who are deliberately trying to enter the forest, they would be tested to see if there is any form of asceticism and no ill will in their hearts, if a candidate has a sense of greed and power lust that would endanger the inhabitants they would be trapped in a genjutsu where their stuck in a endless loop of torture forever allowing larger owls and frogs to devour them. The forest itself is made of most of Land of Fruit making it a native home to some of the species living on the island, sometimes tribes like the Nekozoku are found living in the forest serving as the nourishment to their species, elder members are stationed as guardians for the Flames of Purgatory (煉獄の炎, Rengoku no Honō) eternal flames that never stop burning for centuries but has been granted to worthy individuals that has earned the rights to take some of the flames. The forest has several sections for different breeds of frogs and Owls that reside in them that are considered dangerous and life risky to tame, the Majonomori Forest is classified as a rainforest despite it's swampland sections deep inside.
