Mifune Toshinori is a Samurai and the current Lord of the Land of Iron. Head of the renowned Toshinori Clan, who have led the Land of Iron for over 2,000 years, he's considered a relic of a bygone era, as Samurai have become increasingly less common in modern times. However, despite that he still continues to uphold the Samurai way, and pass it down to his children and grandchildren, in the hopes that they would do the same. Before taking over as Lord he traveled around the world and learned many styles of Ninjutsu. Combining that with his Samurai skills allows him to fight on par with even ANBU and Kage level Shinobi, one of the few Samurai that can pull that off. He's the husband of Sayaka Toshinori, a woman he met while visiting the Hidden Cloud Village, the father of Ai Toshinori, Megumi Toshinori, Hikaru Toshinori, and Kidomaru Toshinori, the granddaughter of Mia Toshinori, and he's related by marriage to Yamaroshi, Tsunerama, Tsunade, Jiraya, and Tenten of the Hidden Leaf Village and Yamaroshi's other three wives Sayori Toshinori, Aki Toshinori, and Suisei Toshinori. He was first seen during the Chunin Exams that took place in the Hidden Leaf Village because his granddaughter was taking part. He posseses the Kekkei Tota of his clan Metal Release, which combines Fire Release, Lightning Release, and Earth Release, which he passed down to one of his daughters and his granddaughter.
