Mikaela Fuyuzuki (冬月 ミカエラ, Fuyuzuki Mikaera), more simply known as Mika (ミカ) is a Samurai who descends from the Land of Iron's prestigious Fuyuzuki Clan, coming from the Head Family. Originally the Fuyuzuki's Heiress, she worked for many years as a diplomat between the Land of Iron and Shinobi Union: helping to establish bonds between Iron Country and the shinobi nations. The wife of Akigumo Kurama, she met the kunoichi shortly after Aki terminated her relationship with her former lover. A friend who gave Aki a helping hand and a shoulder to lean on throughout her pregnancy, it was not long before Mika fell for the flamboyant kunoichi: forgoing dating and traditional courting to pop the question only minutes after the other woman gave birth. Aki said yes, and despite their unconventional start, the two have enjoyed a loving and happy from there after.
While no longer Heiress, she still serves as Iron Country's diplomat for the Shinobi Union; keeping connections secure healthy. When not working, she fills the much accepted and loved duty of being Akigumo's other half during the other woman's own duties as Kurama Matriarch. In this regard, Mika is a much valued "step-matriarch" to the Kurama Clan who shares her wisdom and experience for an out-of-the-box perspective.

Mika Fuyuzuki can be best described as a very unique individual; well-known among her peers, allies, and even enemies as an unorthodox woman. Balancing her outgoing wife and reserved son, she has a very mellow and serene personality who simply takes what life dishes out and doesn't put up a fuss. Like Aki, Mika is very honest and sincere; harboring no secrets, and living a life that allows her to remain true to herself and her values. By her own admission, she is very normal when compared to the company she keeps and it is for this reason that she so stands out: in a world where everyone forces themselves to be one thing or another, she simply is.
Mika can usually be relied on for a light comment or tempered remark. Being something of a pacifist, she has no problem with diffusing most situations and often plays as mediator during disputes among her family as a result. Her calm attitude makes for a very unique perspective as it allows for Mika to see all the sides in any argument or case, without allowing her emotions to sway her judgement.
However, this same sense of serenity also comes with its own flaw in that it causes Mika to come off as indifferent. She can be far too honest than what a situation calls for, or make those around her believe she is belittling their plights when she fails to show the needed reaction. Much of her tranquility comes from the fact that she has a tendency to ignore her own volatile emotions; simply bottling them up, leading to implosions and meltdowns when they become to strong to shove away.
