The Mud Release: Rasenijiiro Bakudan (泥遁:螺旋虹色爆弾, Lit Meaning: Mud Style: Spiraling Rainbow-colored Bomb) is a spinning ball of kanjōjutsu chakra infused with Mud Release formed and held in the palm of the user's hand, this jutsu is inspired by the Rasengan.

The original jutsu this variant is based on is called the Rasengan (螺旋丸, Lit Meaning: Spiraling Sphere) which was first invented by Minato Namikaze, and later down the line perfected by his son Naruto Uzumaki. Ryoga Kyōkuma — who was considered to be a genius among his peers — came across and studied this technique from an unknown user. He decided that instead of using basic chakra as it’s foundation he’d instead utilize his Giyagan’s innate ability to blend his chakra with that of pure raw emotional energy creating kanjōjutsu chakra. The Rasengan’s regular training method is bypassed, however, a user must instead understand the fundamentals of how kanjōjutsu works.

When Ryoga performs this technique he slightly spreads his legs while barely crouched, his left hand stretched out behind him above his head with his palm flat, while performing part of the tiger hand seal with his right hand. As this is being done a massive basketball sized rainbow-colored compressed sphere of kanjōjutsu chakra is manifested hovering above his outstretched palm. It’s important to note that the speed in which this technique is spinning is much greater than its predecessor, making it extremely violent and dangerous for inexperienced users.

Taking it a step further, the intense gravity created by the violent rotation causes pieces of loose earth to be torn from the ground in order to orbit the compressed sphere. Ryoga is then able to coat the ball of energy in Mud Release chakra, however, due to the intensity of the Rasenijiiro Bakudan’s rotation, small fissure-like cracks appeared across the surface causing bright rainbow tinted light to leak out. The user is able to either launch the colorful muddy projectile or they can dash towards an enemy for added grinding force. Upon impact, the Rasengan variant would then violently exploded into a giant ball of colorful blinding energy. Blasting the target back while pulverizing them with the feeling of being smashed by a massive boulder. Chikara Kyōkuma is able to increase the level of damage by creating a focused maelstrom of mud to grind into the target. Although this technique uses Mud Release chakra it shows no apparent weaknesses towards lightning based techniques.
