Naki Fūma, renowned across the shinobi world as "Gaurdian of Hidden Leaf", was a famous and powerful Konohagakure Jōnin originating from the Land of Water and later was the bodyguard of Hiruzen Sarutobi during the Second Great Shinobi War and continued being his bodyguard to Third Great Shinobi War. He lost his life at relatively middle age, protecting his wife, son, and unborn children from Orochimaru Experiments and the rogue organization, the Akatsuki.

Early Life[]
Naki and his brother were born into a family in the land of water from Amegakure to a Fūma Clan father and an Uzumaki Clan mother. When Naki and his younger brother began to show potential as ninja, their family moved to Konoha and sent them to the Ninja Academy. There, Naki was hailed as a genius shinobi, and was praised for his talents in the ninja arts even by the likes of Hiruzen Sarutobi. In his prime, Shiro's was skill said to overshadow even that of his classmates, the future Sannin.
Second Shinobi World War[]
During the Second Shinobi World War, Naki was teamed with Asher Hōki and Sakumo Hatake. They completed many missions that helped Konoha during this time, each one individually leaving their mark. At some point in time during this time, Naki's team confronted and killed Sasori's parents, earning Chiyo's hatred. His team later helped to destroy Land of the Sky. It was formed by ninja from several countries that could mold their chakra into mist in order to fly. Mid and long-distance fighters were especially necessary. Shiro's efforts during the war, gave his clan recognition.

Later, Team Kato and The Sannin were on a joint mission. They were assigned to intercept and eliminate an Iwagakure supply convoy before it could reinforce the enemy front in the Land of Rain. Under the cover of darkness, Sakumo’s White Fang blade tore through enemy patrols, Naki, from the treetops, fired chakra-infused arrows at the foes tapped in his mud swamp. However, just as they launched their ambush, an elite Iwa battalion countered with brutal force.
Amid the battle unleashed his Spirit Transformation Technique, striking down the enemy commander. But as he returned to his body, an Iwa jōnin landed a devastating blow, piercing Dan’s stomach with an earth spear, leaving him critically wounded. Seeing this, Naki loosed an arrow through the jōnin’s throat, but it was too late—Dan was bleeding out. He was brought back by Naki and Sakumo. While Tsunade was able to stop the bleeding, it was a lost cause as the blood loss was too severe. Eventually, Dan succumbed to his injuries.
