This article, Naruto: Kaimetsu/Rules, belongs to the Naruto: Kaimetsu timeline and follows its rules and expected standards.
Ground Rules[]
- All Ōtsutsuki are banned from the project; seeing that within this reality, their tale ends with Momoshiki and Kinshiki.
- Rinnegan, Tenseigan, Rinnesharingan, Tenseigan, Jougan; and any clever (or foolish) attempts to mix any of these ARE BANNED from the project — they are not allowed in any roleplay, be it battles, story missions or side missions. As of now, other Dōjutsu are allowed.
- Should you wish to involve a character in the project that has these abilities, create a subsection to their pages detailing and confirming that the banned abilities will not used in Naruto: Kaimetsu.
- The Mangekyō Sharingan is allowed, but should users decide to utilise them, the character's eyesight must deteriorate significantly with each use. This carries to future moves within a roleplay as well as future roleplays within the project. Handicaps like this could play an important role in deciding contentious roleplays.
- As no such enforcement can be placed on the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan, it is banned as well.
- While elemental Kekkei Genkai and other Kekkei Genkai are allowed, please EXERCISE RESTRAINT. Follow the Manual of Style and refrain from stacking more than two bloodline abilities to any given character here.
- PLEASE, I'm begging here, please don't create Angel/Fairy/Demon/Alien/Predator hybrids, with the ability to summon the Archangel Michael to rain...divine thunderbolts. Please, no.
- The moderators and project heads will be monitoring articles and their abilities for the sake of fairness as well. They will make their thoughts known if sticky situations arise, participants are expected to cooperate and take advice in good faith. This applies for any complications or attempts to dance around the rules above.
- Any autohitting, metagaming or foul play if reported/detected/deemed to be present by most of the moderators, will be punished by allowing the perpetrator to face any action the victim chooses. Be smart about the way you play your cards, this especially applies to unscripted battle roleplays.
- As of now, the Kage positions are to be occupied by canon characters. When openings for Fanon Characters are available, the community will be informed.
- The selection process will be conducted based on what a candidate seeks to accomplish with their characters, their strength of reasoning as well as their contributions to the story in past roleplays.
- Users are free to create their own leaders for Fanon villages or smaller canon villages/settlements.
- The Tailed Beasts will be made event exclusives for the future, but there will be no attempts to capture them outside the three storyline roleplays that have already been set up for the Eight Tails, Three Tails and Six Tails.
- Any plans involving the Tailed Beasts HAVE to be run through with the moderators, as their presence to the plot is quite crucial, even for the future.
