Ninja-ba (忍者馬, Literally meaning: Ninja Horse) are unique horses bred for Shinobi use. Their speed and stamina along with stealth create swift and effective attacks. Some say, Ninja who utilize Ninja-ba are like a storm. One can hear thunder coming, but cannot stop it..Because their attack happens so quickly and at such a quick pace, it is over in a second. Especially used at night, Ninja raids with Ninja-ba are spontaneous.
Most Horses live in a plain known as, Ōyamatsumi (大山積命), names after Shinto's God of Mountains and Sea. The Kaguya are known summoners of Ninja-ba and are capable of performing successful raids across land and water. They also are guardians and breeders of such horses which continue to create generations of powerful steeds. Horses choose their riders. However, it is tradition that leaders inherit their horses from older generations. And for a horse to deny one is dishonorable.
Abilities[]
Ninja-ba are capable of channeling chakra through their body and into their hooves. This is used for a variety of purposes. A Ninja-ba can access multiple basic shinobi techniques with this method. Basic Ninja-ba are known for being able to run on water, Vertical and slanted surfaces, and silencing their hooves completely for stealthy raids. Without the thundering of their hooves, Ninja-ba are capable of traveling across all terrains, Land and sea, without being detected. Some say, this allowed the Kaguya to take over entire islands in a single night. Being able to hunt at night sharpened their senses. And when combined with a horses speed, stanima and their ability to silence their hooves, raids could happen in one village and travel across a river in seconds to their next target.
Ninja-ba are more for travelling. Stronger Ninja-ba, those with a more royal purpose are masterful of more thorough Chakra flow concepts. Some can even use Body Flicker Technique and Chakra Enhanced Speed to further enhance their abilities on field. Together with the Kaguya, Ninja-ba become weapons that others lack. Kaguya are known for battling on horses, and even jumping off, attacking and jumping back on using their enhanced Taijutsu skills. A true Horse and Rider are connected mentally, meaning the Horses know what the Kaguya have planned and in noway need a rider.
