Nintaijutsu (忍体術, Literally meaning: “Ninja Body Techniques”) is a term used to describe the fighting style used by the Fourth Raikage, Shindō Shunsoku, and many others. A combination of ninjutsu and taijutsu, users use nintaijutsu by first surrounding themselves with elemental armor or a similar technique.

For example, the Fourth Raikage’s Lightning Release Armor augments the strength of his physical attacks, making him more deadly, along with his speed and reflexes increasing to the point of lightspeed. Many different shinobi use this fighting style as well, in a variety of ways, like Shindō Shunsoku’s Lightning Mode which allows him to perform his clan’s Thunder Dance and augments his kenjutsu capabilities to battle tailed beasts.
