By utilising Kappa's Steel Release, Hotaru disassembles the puppet literally instantaneously so that it forms an armour by attaching it's body parts to Hotaru, literally forming an armour on him. The armour is extremely durable and almost impenetrable, removing the weaknesses a puppeteer faces when manipulating his puppets. The weakness of this technique however is the certain hinges in the armour, which can be capitalised on by observant enemies.
