Reishutaijū(霊主体重,Flesh Subordinated to the Spirit) is a unique ability that was stated to be wielded by the Kaiboku Clan members. It later reappeared within the members of
Mōri Clan.
Overview[]
The Reishutaijū in the days of the Kaiboku was an ability known to be possessed by all of the members. When pushed to their limits or put in dire situation. Something with their spirits would flare up causing their bodies to undergo a transformation, which was referred to as a primal state. This allowed the Kaiboku to continue fighting even if they were in a near death state. Once in this form, the Kaiboku would fight in a nearly uncontrolled rage, attacking all they saw. In some cases the user is able to take a severed part of opponent and add it to their own body, thus increasing their strength. However, the transformation only last for a limited time, with the use reverting back after. In addition, any added object is ejected after the transformation has ended. This ability spread fear throughout the invaders during the great war. Since the time of the Kaiboku, the ability reappeared within their descendants the Mōri with additional functions. Using the Reishutaijū allows the Mōri to condense their large bodies into the size of a normal individual this allows them to interact with others outside the clan. While their bodies are condensed they retain their original strength, with the small size allowing for more precision strikes.

The Mōri's ability to survive in extreme temperatures is often attributed to an unknown aspect of this ability.
It is stated that those who possess the Mark of the Goddess. Would be able to enter the form at will as well as remain in control.
This ability was classified as a Kekkei Genkai by the Ōtsutsuki Clan.
