Following the concept of yin-yang - balance - is absolute: time is endless; space is boundless. Adopting his clan’s feared Fuuinjutsu, Magai ingeniously created a seal that should earn him fear throughout the Shinobi lands. The seal is meant to disrupt time in a certain area, freezing it, while outside the seal time continues to flow. This technique is considered the pinnacle of Fūinjutsu skill and such requires a great amount of preparation, given through his intelligence and strategic planning.
To start the preparations, Magai begins with the following incantation: "Sever the bond between the Consumer and Earth. Allow Time to Consume itself, to give Space an Endless Vision." Followed with Magai chanting the last sentence three times, before he chants “With this Solidness that Ages, the Space of Timeless is born.” Whereas he throws the Kunai with prepared seal saying “Freezing”, to activate the Space-Time Ninjutsu Barrier of a radius of fifteen meters.
This technique holds multiple drawbacks. First and foremost, if Magai is within the confines of his seal when activated, time will also freeze for him. Which is why he branded himself with a special seal which creates a thin layer of chakra allowing time to fly around his immediate perimeter. The second weakness lies in its preparation time, which causes Magai to rely on trickery and deception. Especially with his ability to perform multiple seals and hide one within another.
It is classified as a barrier technique because the seal erects a time nullification barrier. Giving Magai his own domain. He can also combine it with its sister technique; Seal of a Thousand Realms to fully create his own realm of sorts.
