A secret technique that produces rain that absorbs any chakra it comes into contact with, though chakra of the same signature as the original user is immune to its effects. The effect of this technique is powerful enough to absorb Soap Bubble Ninjutsu and the Rasengan. Hunter-nin of Kirigakure are known for using this tactic against their assigned targets.

• Kirisame (霧雨) can be translated as "misty rain" or "thin rain as mist". "Kiri" is a "fog" or "mist". "Same" is "Ame" originally and means "rain".
