The Shakuhai Clan (lit. Clan of Scorching Ash, Shakuhai Ichizoku, 灼灰族) is a small but powerful clan that lives somewhere in the Land of Fire. They do not directly affiliate themselves with Konohagakure, however they are friendly towards their closest village. The Shakuhai Clan is lesser known, though they can be fairly easily indentified due to their use of their hiden jutsu, which is a variation of Fire Release, which affords them the ability to manipulate ash.
Characteristics[]
The Shakuhai Clan has certain defining characteristics, most of which have come about as a result of their hiden jutsu. It has been likenend to the hiden technique of the Hozuki Clan, as it seems to be on the brink of becoming a kekkai genkai, rather than a hiden. One such characteristic is the common ability of Shakuhai Clan members to see through smoke screens, or other such obstructions. This allows them to continue to fight effectively in their own smoke screens.
