Shimora Aburame, is a former member of Konohagakure's ANBU faction Root. During her time as an active duty kunoichi, she served as the Medical-Nin of Team Fue.
Background[]
Early Life[]
Early Years with Root
She is the younger sister of Tatsuma Aburame. Shimora was recruited into root by her brother sometime during the end of the 3rd Ninja War. When she originally joined Root, she was trained and partnered with Yōji Aburame. A few years later, the duo would disband as Yōji - using the codename Sugaru - was also added to Itachi's Team 2. Officially he was just another member, but Danzō informed Sugaru that Sugaru's sole responsibility was to keep an eye on Itachi.
Shimora and Itachi clash
Root members are sent to find a one of Hiruzen's ANBU in possession of a scroll containing information about a traitor. During this mission, Shimora is sent as backup to Sekkei Inuzuka, Shikari Nara, and Arikurin Shiin. The team was intercepted by Shisui and Itachi Uchiha, who intervened and attacked the 4 ANBU. Hiruzen's ANBU, which turned out to be a water clone, dissolves. The Root members remain unconcerned, with Shimora having poisoned the real one. Sekkei opts to chase down the ANBU while Shikari and Shimora take care of Shisui and Itachi. As Shimora and Itachi fight, he uses his sharingan turns a trap against herself. Shisui defeats all of the other Root members using his Body Flicker technique. Arikurin, Shimora, and Shikari are forced to retreat, not having the authorization to kill members of the Uchiha clan.
Shimora joins Team Fue
When Itachi left the village following the Uchiha Clan Downfall, he called out Sugaru, aware that he would be followed wherever he went. Sugaru didn't believe Itachi could do anything to stop him, but was quickly proven wrong: Itachi used Tsukuyomi on the insects inhabiting Sugaru's body, preventing him from moving. He then used Amaterasu on Sugaru, burning him and each of his insects until only ashes remained. Sugaru, via his insects, cried out in agony as he died. She vows that she will kill Itachi someday. She later becomes a subordinate of Arikurin as a member of Team Fue.
Team Fue as a 4-Man Squad
When word reached Konoha's leadership of a planned coup d'état by the Uchiha clan, Shisui Uchiha, acknowledged for his unquestionable loyalty to Konohagakure, presented his plan of ceasing the Uchiha's coup by casting Kotoamatsukami on his clansmen to the Council, Hiruzen agreed. Danzō, however, determined to protect the village in his own way and, believing that Shisui may try to manipulate him as well. Shimora and Sugaru used their insects' poison to subdue Shisui, enabling Danzō to take Shisui's Mangekyō Sharingan for himself. Shuisui would quickly escape into the forest.
Personality[]
Despite being a member of Root, Shimora struggled to lose emotions in order to better accomplish missions. Regardless, she is a very loyal shinobi that follows any and all orders given to her by Danzō. After the death of Yōji Aburame, she struggles to deal with her emotions even more, eventually retiring from ANBU.
Appearance[]

Shimora wears of dark sunglasses and standard ANBU gear that consists of black clothing, a grey flak jacket, metal arm guards and gloves, ninja sandals with spikes for traveling into mountainous regions, three ninja pouches on their back-waist and a signature spiral tattoo on their shoulder. She has harness fastened to the back of her outfit which she used to carry around a gourd in which she carried additional Kochū.

Aburame Clan Techniques[]
Kochu[]
As a member of the Aburame clan, Shimora was infused at birth with a special breed of insects, called Kochū, that use her body as a nest and feed on her chakra, living in a form of symbiosis. Danzō Shimura notes kochū are perfect for performing assassinations, as they are as imperceptible as mosquitoes yet as deadly as scorpions. She could also use the insects to suck out poison. She can also control the kochū in such a way that their sounds resemble speech. She would send mission reports back and forth this way.
Shokaichu[]
Shimora carried at least one other species of insect in his body called shōkaichū, which she used to gather information by having them tunnel through the ground to locate nearby chakra signatures and report it back to her. Shimora's skills in infiltration techniques were well reputed. She, like her brother Tatsuma Aburame, set a high standard for successive generations of Root. She could also use the insects to suck out poison.
Poison Techniques and Weaponry[]

She carries a particular species of insect called kochū, which had the ability to infect enemies with a deadly poison that first paralysed the victim and then killed them shortly afterwards; this poison also has the special property of disappearing after the victim's death, making it undetectable during an autopsy.
"Kokutō" Blade
Shimora's main tactic in battle involves incorporating poison into her attacks. She can emit a poisonous gas from her mouth that is fatal even if only a whiff of it is inhaled. Shimora also imbues her senbon and kunai with a poison that can debilitate and paralyze someone with a scratch. She can either fire senbon from a concealed thigh or wrist-mounted device, or from her mouth in quick succession. Shimora is skilled in kenjutsu, weilding a unique sword called "Kokutō" — a katana with a darkened, non-reflective surface, which is also coated in poison.
Medical Ninjutsu[]
Shimora's Poison and Antidotes
Shimora is a medical ninjutsu expert. She assisted in the transplanting of Danzo’s right arm using a delicate, high-level technique. As a medical-nin, Fuijina also has knowledge of medical treatments and ninjutsu, as well as good chakra control in general. Shimora's refined chakra control allowed her to perform even the most complex medical ninjutsu, such as leading a team to regenerate a person's injured body with new cells, while the slightest mistake could be fatal.

Prologue: Team Fue
Team Fue is tasked with infiltrating the Land of Bears to gain useable itel on the mysterious Peacock Method. The team infiltrated Tsume Village by posing as hired workers to build one of their multiple bridges. Team Fue stays with on a campsite, where other construction workers are staying for the duration of the repair works.
Shimora travels to Hoshigakure
A few days later, 2 shinobi arrive in the village from Hoshigakure. They discuss the legend of the spirit that inhabits the forests. Papu, also known as The Bear Spirit, is causing disappearances in the nearby forests one-by-one. Later that night when Team Fue investigates in the forest, Arikurin uses his Byakugan to look for anything suspicious or out of the ordinary and notices strange chakra trail and follows it. They find themselves near a dead end in the middle of the forest.
Nohkan Gaiden (Manga-Style): A Puppet Musical[]
Tracking Orochimaru after his defection from Konohagakure, Team Fue finds him in battle with Akatsuki members, Sasori and Deidara. Sasori brings out his Third Kazekage puppet. While, Orochimaru summoned the actual Third Kazekage through the Second Hokage's Summoning: Impure World Reincarnation. While proving his reincarnated ninja to be stronger than the human puppet, the technique ultimately proved incomplete as the Third Kazekage was able to regain control and break the summoning contract. Orochimaru chose this moment to flee.
Sekkei opts to continue to trail Orochimaru while the others plan to attack Sasori and get the location of the Akatsuki base, Sasori is ambushed by Team Fue. The Third Kazekage puppet, already damaged from the previous fight, takes a hard hit from Arikurin. Outnumbered and outmatched, Sasori manages to poison Shikari. While be tended to by Shimora. Arikurin is blindsided by Deidara who escapes with Sasori. The intel from their encounter is later added to the Bingo Book.
Part I[]
Konoha Crush[]
Team Fue defends Konoha
When Sunagakure and Otogakure launched an attack on Konoha, she, Kari, and other ANBU members met at the Memorial Stone. The team departed and attacked the invading shinobi after the village's civilians were evacuated.
Search for Tsunade[]
Arikurin reports to Danzo that Itachi has returned. Soon after, Shimora and Shikari arrive at the location and Arikurin uses his Byakugan to find Itachi resting in a cave and Kisame guarding the entrance. Intel stated that, Itachi used Tsukuyomi earlier and it wasn't easy to recover from it. The plan was to defeat Kisame before trying to take down Itachi. By causing the temperature of air to fall below the freezing point, Shikari's filled the cave a visually clouding frost , effectively freezing any ambient water vapour in the vicinity. The frost allows him to become transparent within it. Before Kisame could ready his Samehada to defend himself, they were trapped in Shikari's Ice Release: Frozen Capturing Field. Arikurin appears and fires a Vibration Control: Bullet at Kisame but that later used Water Release: Exploding Water Colliding Wave to break free.
Shimora defeats Itachi's clone
Shikari immediately followed up by shooting numerous amount of extremely large jets of water from his mouth as Kisame descends from his wave. Within the jets of water bombarding Kisame, were poison tipped senbon from his teammate that left multiple swelling pustules across his body. From observing the wounds, Kisame guessed he'd been poisoned. Itachi finally joined the fight, attacking Arikurin with a Great Fireball Technique. When he avoided that attack, Shimora struck Itachi from his blind spot. It was hoever, a shadow clone. The real Itachi then appeared, catching Arikurin with Tsukuyomi and, in an instant, torturing him with the sensation of drowning for two full days. Arikurin eventually collapsed from the trauma and Itachi collapses from exhaustion. forcing Kisame to flee the area with Itachi.

Kazuno's Barrier
Short on manpower, Tsunade is forced to use Danzo's root operatives. Arikurin accepts the mission to back-up Team 4 and assembles Team Fue. Upon arriving at Kusagakure, they are stopped by what seems to be a barrier. Shikari is the first to try to break through the barrier with his Ice blade but the barrier seems unphased. Arikurin attempts to break through the barrier with his Orchestral Stab, his strongest taijutsu attack. But it still doesn't seem to drop the barrier. Sheer force alone wouldn't be enough to break through.

Still on the outside of the barrier, Shikari freezes the ground beneath them, in order to create a tunnel as a way of getting in. The barrier, however, went as far underneath as it did above. Shimora then uses her insects to scout the area and finds members of the Kusagakure Barrier team nearby. She relays their location to Arikurin and Shikari who head towards them immediately. Activating his Byakugan, Arikurin uses his Shindo Tanto and swipes his Kunai by his opponents ear-attempting to place the Kusagakure ninja under a genjutsu and force him reveal the barrier codes. When this fails, he realizes that they were already under a genjutsu. After finally breaking through the barrier, Arikurin could sense two very powerful chakra's in two seperate locations. He orders Team Fue to split up. Shimora heads toward the direction of Yasu and Takeru, while Arikurin and Shikari head to aid Sayuki.
Shimora pulled Yasu to the side and uses her Insect Jar Technique. By using her shōkaichū to create an earth-style dome and using kikaichū to fly in a very high speed around the dome, Shimora creates two-layers of protection. Giving her time to examine Yasu's Ice Poison. Inside the room, Shimora is perceiving disturbances in Yasu's chakra. With Shikari being her teammate, she had dealt this ice type chakras before. While Takeru fights Biwako, Shimora manages to use her Delicate Illness Extraction Technique to extract most of the poison from Yasu's body, saving his life.
Biwako brings out her Ice Puppets Army and Shimora used her Insect Clone Technique. While the two sides battle, Yasu moves closer to Biwako and places a seal on her. Biwako is able to transfer her living core to another puppet before the seal connects, sneaks up on Takeru, and attacks. Shikari shields the attack with her body and is both fatally wounded and poisoned. Biwako attacks Takeru again, only to fall into his trap and have his core stabbed by the her own puppets. Yasu and Takeru took Shimora on their shoulders and took the chance to run away from Biwako.
Sasuke Recovery Mission[]
At the request of the Lady Tsuande (while spying for Danzo), Team Fue came to the aid of those sent out to retrieve Sasuke Uchiha. Near death, Chōji was found by Shimora and rushed back to the village for emergency treatment. With the efforts of the Nara clan's medical encyclopaedia which they had listed their research on their comrade's pills and their effects along with Tsunade's medical expertise allowed Chōji to evade death, and make a full recovery.
Bikōchū Search Mission[]
Shimora led a team along with Kari to find the bikōchū beetle, a rare insect with legendary tracking abilities, in the hopes that it could be used to find Itachi. Later after defeating the Kamizuru clan, the mission is complete once they find the bikōchū.
Part II[]
Three-Tails’ Appearance[]

Arikurin returns to Konoha having failed to seal the Three Tails. The following morning, Danzo sends an ANBU team to to help seal the three tails lead by Shimora. Later, Deidara overhears the ANBU mentioning that the mist caused by the Three-Tails can induce hallucinations. Thanking them for the tip, he proceeds to kill them all with his Explosive Clay. Shimora is able to escape using a Bug clone.

Pain's Assault[]
Despite Danzo's order, Shimora joins her clan in defending Konoha. Shino begins by sending his bugs to attack Konan, only to be a paper clone. Upon looking up, the Aburame see several more paper clones on the rooftops. Unbeknownst to the Aburame, Konan's paper clones were secretly equipped with explosive tags. After the Aburame narrowly escape a bombardment of Konan's paper clones exploding. Naraka Path suddenly appears and kills an unnamed member of the Aburame Clan.
Five Kage Summit[]
Shimora and Kori had both been secretly assigned by Danzō to assassinate Anko Mitarashi, but due to the village's situation at that time, their mission was postponed in preference of finding Kabuto Yakushi before she did.
Fourth Shinobi World War: Confrontation[]
Team Fue and the Third Division
During the Fourth Shinobi World War, Shikari is originally of the Allied Shinobi Forces' Third Division. While seeking out an Akatsuki force, they notice and heads towards one of the Surprise Attack Division's distress flares. The Third Division arrives in time to save them from the reincarnated Gari, Pakura, Haku, and Zabuza Momochi. Soon after, Zabuza uses the Hiding in Mist Technique to hide his and the others' movements, putting the Third Division on the defensive. As the battle gets under-way, Zabuza covers the battlefield in a thick mist under the cover of which the reincarnated shinobi attack. Cautioning his troops before they attack, Kakashi tells them to get into the Manji Formation in order to protect each others' backs.
Shimora uses a Sound Sealing Tag
As dawn broke the next day, the division is set upon by Gari, Pakura, Jinpachi Munashi, Kushimaru Kuriarare, Ameyuri Ringo, and Jinin Akebino — all of whom take to guerilla tactics to divide the division's forces and take them down individually, and upon realising this, Kakashi sends word to his division to stay together. Jinin and Jinpachi are eventually sealed by Team Fue. With Jinin sealed, the other reincarnated shinobi retreat and they are ordered not to pursue them
Team Fue during the War
Elsewhere, The Sound Four are reincarnated by Kabuto Yakushi to fight. Kabuto tells them he is helping Orochimaru grant them a wish by allowing them to take vengeance against those who killed them. Arikurin hears Tayuyas flute and sends a swiftlet to find its location and report to HQ. The Sound Four seek out and engage the members of the Recovery Team they fought before they died. Although they are unable to compete with the now-stronger Recovery Team, the Sound Four are able to trap them all with the Space–Time Technique Formula: Underworld Turnover, which promises to kill them all given enough time. However Shikamaru tricks the Sound Four into amplifying their hatred, attracting Naruto and Team Fue to their location and allowing them to release the Recovery Team, defeat the Sound Four, and send their souls back to the Pure Land.
Fourth Shinobi World War: Climax[]
Aburame Clan attacks Ten-Tails
Upon arriving at the battlefield, Shimora and a few other Aburame immediately use the Insect Jamming Technique in tandem with the Kiri-nins' Hiding in Mist Technique to obscure their position on the battlefield. She, and the other members of the Allied Shinobi Forces later stood to face their opposition. Shortly after this, the entire Allied Shinobi Forces arrive at the battlefield, causing the Sensing Water Sphere to distort, and Naruto announces that they were no longer a disorderly crowd before announcing a new technique — The Ninja Alliance Technique, which is the strongest technique that ever existed in the shinobi world and that it could win against the Infinite Tsukuyomi.
Blank Period[]
After a few missions with Otogakure ANBU, she finds out she is pregnant with Shem Aburame.
Shikamaru Hiden: A Cloud Drifting in Silent Darkness[]
Two years later, Shimora retired from shinobi work to devote all her time to being a full-time mother.
New Era[]
Versus Momoshiki Arc[]
The finals are interrupted by an attack from Kinshiki and Momoshiki Ōtsutsuki, who proceed to destroy the stadium; Shimora uses her insects to attack the falling debris above her, creating a shockwave strong enough to destroy it to protect herself and the other spectators. After Kinshiki and Momoshiki kidnap Naruto, Shimora heals Shomyo, who was badly injured in his failed attempt to stop the Otsutsuki.
