The Shinobi Hunter Corps (忍ハンター隊, Shinobu hantā-tai) Are the Ikkō-ikki equivalent of Shinobi ANBU Black Ops. They name comes from their initial purpose of hunting down rogue and Missing-nin who hid in the Land of Mountains. They also serve as the villages secret police as as higher tier mercenaries often hired by various lords and daimyō's to hunt down higher tier Shinobi.

The Shinobi Hunter Corps are highly trained according to the rigorous teachings of Jōdo Shinshū. Chakra while largely banned is expected with some exceptions such as Elder Centipede and Junior Centipede. The Shinobi Hunter Corps are trained in various weapons skills and often operate in groups of two to three, but also operate alone.

They often wear normal warrior monk robes with some wearing theater style masks or visors to cover their eyes. There is also a subunit known as the infested who are made up of warrior monks who possess the Kekkei Tōta: Demonic Centipede and often appear as zombies or undead.
Unlike the ANBU following the end of the Fourth Shinobi World War, the Shinobi Hunter Corps funding was increased as militarization increased in the village despite the peace.
Uniforms[]
Shinobi Hunters often worn samurai style armor and monk garbs underneath, though the uniform does vary. They do occasionally wear theater style masks or visors. They often wear white or black cloaks, or hooded cloaks, They often are armed with a Jumonji yari, wrist mounted daggers, and tantōs.

- Shinobi Hunters are trained in both Kenjutsu, and Sōjutsu.
- Many have obvious distaste and a dislike for Shinobi mostly due to them being hired to hunt down Missing-nin, as seen with how aggressive they are with Shinobi.
