Shinzamai Kōgōka (真三昧光業火, しんざんまいこうごうか, Literally meaning: True Samādhi Light Karmic Flame) is mythical technique utilized by Enji. Onlookers have stated that these divine flames of karmic light might attract the attention of higher powers, who could view Enji’s actions as hubris or sacrilege, leading to unforeseen consequences.

Overview[]

The might of this alabaster luminescence, akin to the exhalation of a wrathful deity, instantaneously reduces flesh to embers, yet it does not claim life. Instead, it obliterates the corporeal vessel, tethering the spirit to the charred remnants and leaving behind a haunting tableau of divine retribution. Enji heralds this phenomenon as the will of the divine. It manifests as a celestial effulgence, igniting from within the target’s soul and expanding until only ashes and scorched remains are left. Among the myriad jutsu, this technique stands unparalleled, for it is indefensible and indefatigable. This technique is infallible whether the target exists in a corporeal form or lingers between realms. It transcends the boundaries of fate and causality, rendering it a power of unique and formidable caliber.

The target can unwittingly summon this divine power if they display any hint of physical aggression towards Enji, even if he remains passive. This phenomenon unfolds irrespective of Enji's awareness of the assault. It ensnares the target, their weapons, and any other items, even those imbued with divine properties, all of which succumb to the technique's cataclysmic effects. Enji, a seer of causality and the Echo of Kagutsuchi, wields an extraordinary ability to manipulate the timing of this divine technique. He can summon the light at the precise moment the event transpires, ensuring immediate retribution, or he can choose to delay the invocation, allowing the radiance to manifest later. This mastery over temporal manipulation adds another layer of complexity and unpredictability to the technique, making it even more formidable and awe-inspiring.

The target may only succumb to this technique a single time, and they must be within a certain proximity to Enji for its effects to manifest. Enji must harbor no trace of ill intent or violence and must be in a state of tranquility for the technique to activate. This adds an air of mystery and inevitability to Enji’s actions, as his enemies remain unaware of the impending doom that may strike at any moment or perhaps at a time of Enji’s choosing. In their elated state, their soul becomes charred, their ethereal forms blackened by the divine light. Glimpses of those charred souls will still walk the earth, their presence a haunting reminder of Enji's power. Occasionally, one may catch slight glimpses of these spectral figures, their forms flickering like shadows at the edge of perception. Even soulless constructs or entities are met with the same fate. Those who meet this divine light all share the same fate. The body and soul are ensnared by this technique, yet the spirit remains untouched, unscathed by its divine wrath.

Drawbacks[]

Enji, may bear a significant spiritual burden, as invoking divine will and manipulating such potent light-flames could take a toll on his own soul. The weight of binding spirits to charred remnants might lead to a sense of guilt or moral conflict. Moreso, the charred remains and ashes left behind might taint the land, making it barren or cursed. Since the technique can be mistakenly invoked by any sign of physical violence against Enji, it poses a constant risk. Innocent actions or misunderstandings could trigger the flames, causing unintended harm to allies or bystanders. However, Enji, can reverse the effects of this technique at his leisure.
