Shiro Fūma, renowned across the shinobi world as "The White Hood", was a famous and powerful Konohagakure Jonin originating from the Land of Rice Fields. He lost his life at relatively young age, protecting his wife, son, and unborn children from The Followers of Shiin.

Background[]

Early Life[]

Shiro was born into a family in the Land of Rice Fields to a Fūma Clan father and an Uzumaki Clan mother. When Shiro and his younger brother began to show potential as ninja, their family moved to Konoha and sent them to the Ninja Academy. There, Shiro was hailed as a genius shinobi, and was praised for his talents in the ninja arts even by the likes of Hiruzen Sarutobi. In his prime, Shiro's was skill said to overshadow even that of his classmates, the future Sannin.

Second Shinobi World War[]

During the Second Shinobi World War, Shiro was teamed with Dan Kato and Sakumo Hatake. They completed many missions that helped Konoha during this time, each one individually leaving their mark. At some point in time during this time, Shiro's team confronted and killed Sasori's parents, earning Chiyo's hatred.

His team later helped to destroy Land of the Sky. It was formed by ninja from several countries that could mould their chakra into mist in order to fly. Mid and long distance fighters were especially necessary. Shiro's efforts during the war, gave his clan recognition. It moved him from an ordinary shinobi to one who was well known across many nations, gaining his nickname of "The White Hood", The hood Shiro wore, brought fear to his enemies, as shown from the reaction of a Iwagakure unit who would find cover upon seeing it.

Team Kato is disbanded

Later, Team Kato and The Sannin were on a joint mission. They killed countless shinobi during this united effort.. Ultimately, Dan was fatally wounded during a battle. He was brought back by Shiro and Sakumo. While Tsunade was able to stop the bleeding, it was a lost cause as the blood loss was too severe. Eventually, Dan succumbed to his injuries. After his death Team Kato was disbanded.

Life after the War[]

Toward the end of the war, Shiro marries a refugee named Aoide Shiin. One day he returns home and is overjoyed to find out she is pregnant. He begins take on safer missions. They eventually have a son named, Arikurin. His birth, however, alerted the Followers of Shiin to their general location when Shiinshiki's Drum began to Harmonize.

Unknown to Shiro and his wife, multiple Land of That Agents combed the Land of Sound until she was found. It wasn't long until Aoide was spotted in town. Not long after, their home was brutally attacked and destroyed. Shiro was able to defeat more than 10 agents. The last one, however, would give him trouble. In order to let wife and son escapes, he was forced to use forbidden murder-suicide. He connected his heart to his opponent so that internal damage done to one will also be done to the other, killing them both. Unknown to him, he would also save his future unborn twins.

Shiro's body was later brought to Konoha Cemetery. For many years, Shiro stayed in limbo, waiting for the day he could talk to his wife and son. Aoide, more than once has visited his grave in Konoha, while simultaneously checking in on Arikurin. Shiro is eventually is reunited with his first born son, when Arikurin is on the brink of death.

Personality[]

Shiro was a very kind and loyal man. He loved his family so much, he embedded his own chakra into his son's Shiin Clan tattoo at birth. He had a deep devotion to his clan and an even greater commitment to his allies and loved ones.

Shiro had red hair and wore a standard Konoha-nin uniform with a pair of gloves, flak jacket, and bandages on his left arm that hold kunai. He carried his Bow and Arrows on his back and his distinctive white hooded shirt with one sleeve that had the standard crest of Uzushiogakure on it.

Shiro was able to use 3 different nature transformations. With Earth Release, he could summon Mud Wolves to distract his opponents in order to take them out with a long ranged attack. With Fire Release, he could light his arrows on fire. Shiro could a shoot a blast of fire that he could combine with his wind Release to make for an even more devastating attack. Shiro also possessed the Typhoon Release Kekkei Genkai – a powerful variation of Wind Release. With it, he could easily conjure powerful winds to knock down or otherwise limit his enemy's field of vision. With effort, he could also use a much stronger variation of the technique that were severe enough to cover an entire island.

Chakra and Physical Prowess[]

Shiro displayed high levels of chakra control and chakra reserves. He also showed high-level taijutsu prowess along with great speed and evasive skills, being able to single-handedly disarm and defeat several enemies. He was adept at perceiving everything around him and formulating well-thought-out plans several steps ahead of his opponent that could also involve misdirections, as well as quickly altering his plans should the situation change. With prowess in chakra flow, Shiro was able to channel his wind-chakra through his weapons to greatly increase their lethality. Not only does this enhance their sharpness and range, but also, upon impact, turns them into powerful explosives. His specialty in battle was archery, using his bow to fire off kunai and arrows to snipe his targets.

Like members of his clan, Shiro specialised in fūinjutsu. He could store a numerous amount of weapons into his scrolls, which she can later unseal with varying degrees of force to bombard her opponents with. He could attach explosive tags to the weapons to make them more lethal, and use wire strings to better guide the weapons' trajectory.

Arikurin and Oto-ANBU agents attempt to ambush an unknown Ōtsutsuki Clan opponent later found to be Keshin Enera. Arikurin is no match the the opponents fighting style: Rōkutōryū — the practice of an unorthodox manner of sword combat involving simultaneous usage of six swords. Arikurin's blade is destroyed. Without his blade, Arikurin, is soundly defeated. When Arikurin is left on the brink of death, Shiro finally meets his son. He explains to him that his Shiin Clan tattoo was embedded with his chakra at birth. Later, Arikurin visits his father's grave

  • Shiro is inspired by The White Fang, Sakumo Hatake. His death by suicide is also based on Sakumo's death
  • Shiro's white hood design draws inspiration from Assassins' Creed.
