This technique was devised by Kazuko Ryuketsu to ensure and mantain the act of silent conversations.
The user (s) creates an invisible, soundproof spherical barrier around their intended location. The barrier can be expanded, and its creator (s) is granted the ability to sense the physical and chakra movement that shifts within the space. Basically speaking, the barrier provides sound protection.
As a whole, this jutsu is very easy to grasp and reliable, as it provides decent protection and flexibility regardless of its size or the user's skill in chakra. However, it can definitely be strengthened or fortified by several factors.
- All wielders of the technique can survey the activities inside the barrier, but Sensor Type ninjas are able to detect its fluctuations with a greater precision and speed.
- Shinobi with deep chakra reserves can withold the barrier much longer.
- Chakra potency plays a factor in determining the barrier's effectivity. It's true powers are seen clearer when it involves more individuals and larger locations. Compared to close-range discussions, larger, stronger chakra is needed to uphold the barrier's strength and longevity. A lot of the times, combined chakra is utilized. It spreads more eyes across the barrier, but only the main caster can dispel the barrier at will. If formidable enough, it can also serve as a blockade for a variety of offensive-type attacks.
- Users with a skill in chakra control have a substantial advantage over the manipulation of the barrier. They can tweak its power more effortlessly, creating or dismembering it easily at will. Whether it'd be two individuals or one hundred, it can be adjusted faster and much more efficiently.
- Shinobi with all the factors above are able to produce more than several silencing barriers at once, and still be profoundly aware of all the movements that take place within the bubbles.
The credibility of this barrier is unarguable as it can also be layered with other barriers. But it is not infallible, because it can shatter against sufficiently massive ninjutsu or taijutsu attacks. Killing or injuring its users weakens or immediately breaks the barrier. But at its best, Kazuko (its original creator) had muffled mini wars with her silencing barriers, shielding it from civilians and enemy eyes.
