The Soujuu clan (裏投げ一族, Soujuu Ichizoku) is a clan who rely on shurikenjutsu for combat. They originate from Sunagakure while a small amount lived moved to Konohagakure. It is believed that they may hold some relation to the Fūma Clan, any relation to the uchiha is negligible. Its techniques would eventually be stolen by Junjo Rotobi.

Though related to the Fūma clan, members of the Soujuu clan share no relation to the uchiha.

Most commonly members of this clan are predisposed to Wind and Lightning chakras. They use these natures to better utilize their shuriken/ Most members will either use multiple small Shurikens or a larger Shuriken.

The clan originated from the Land of Wind, being involved in much of its early history. Later in a show of good faith many members would move to Land of Fire where they opened the Soujuu Shuriken Training Compound.

This separation of members has long been a debate among the clan. Having many members believing this has weaken them and making the succession for a new leader much more difficult.

Name

Soujuu (操縦) can mean controlling or piloting.
