Souka Bakeneko (蒼華化け猫 Sōka Hisasugi) is a Jōnin Kunoichi of Kumogakure's Bakeneko Clan. She along with her feline companion, Raikou, were renowned across the shinobi world as () that she became a candidate for the ____. She became the mother Yoshino Kusugi however she died after giving birth which became the cause of her husband, Tanjiro Kusugi plunging into depression and put all the blame on his daughter and abuse her.

Appearance

Souka has short, neck-length dark hair that lies down in spiky tufts, with tufts at the back spiked upwards. Another short tuft stands straight up in the middle of her hair. She has brown irises and a fair complexion. She usually wears a white shirt underneath a brown leather jacket with green pants and black suspenders. The shirt is a collared short-sleeve that flaps down to her waist, separating at the middle to expose Souka's navel. The leather jacket is also short-sleeved and has yellow fur around the end of the sleeves and the collar. Her pants come down to her shins and she wears brown travelers' shoes. Underneath her shirt, Souka wears a black undershirt or singlet. She also wears a golden bracelet on her right hand, given to her by her husband.

While on duty, she wore a black forehead protector. Her attire consisted of a standard Kumo uniform of a long, grey top which gathers just at the waist to give a sash-like appearance, with a matching colored bottom. Over this she wore a white, one-strapped flak jacket and arm as well as shin-guards.
