Spatium is an awfully rare metal synthesized and discovered by Enma Kinsei using his metal-powers.
Overview[]
Spatium has the unique ability to increase or decrease the size and mass of objects or living beings. Spatium work by possessing a special set of subatomic particles called, spations. The Spatium particles work by stunting matter into another dimension when shrinking an subject or accruing extra matter from that dimension when enlarging.
Originally, spatium existed in a liquid elixir form which would shrink objects or living being to which it was applied. Later, Enma was able to synthesize Spatium into a gaseous form for quick shrinking results with inhalation. Later still, he managed to finally create the metal form. Since it's radioactive, repeated, long-term exposure to Spatium can actually result in the subject's body naturally producing its own Spations.
Allowing them to shrink or grow instantaneously as per their will. Spations do exert a large amount of physical and mental strain on the subject's body.
Spatium weapons generate a special "Tachyon Field"; therefore it has the natural ability to generate a tachyon energy field which means subjects exposed to it could very well be able to generate a tachyon energy field from within his body. Though he can focus this energy through anything, he typically focuses this field through his sword; allowing it to cut through almost any substance.
However, in spite of all it's virtues, Spatium is malleable and has the same tensile strength has steel and has roughly the same durability as iron. The melting point of this metal is around 3,538 °C.
Spatium is not nigh-indestructible or impregnable but in spite of this, the metal has multiple benefits. Synthesizing spatium is one of the most difficult feats and has only been accomplished by Enma, so far. Unfortunately, Spatium is continuously eroded by the neutron bombardment, and will release deadly poisons into its surroundings. Which is why, it can never be used as a stable energy source.
