This technique takes a form of conductive discharge of energy through Shape transformation (形態変化, Keitai Henka, English TV: Change in Chakra Form). The user concentrates and amasses electricity to their hands; the high concentration of this plasma produces a high humming sound like Katasuke Tōno's scientific Chakra Blade, hence its name plasma saber. This form of chakra shape is difficult to maintain let alone master, Honey B was able to by applying the same method to sasuke's Chidori Sharp Spear, taking the shape of a Daishō (大小, "big-little") of blue-white energy.
This technique possessed unparalleled cutting power, capable of cutting through most substances with relative ease. Much like the Chidori Sharp Spear, the length and width of the blade could be changed by pouring chakra into it, although the blade could only extend so far before losing cohesion. Getting struck by the Plasma Saber is likened to getting struck by lightning: the energy composing the blade was so volatile that it could vaporize water on contact and sear through flesh. This technique required some knowledge on kenjutsu to use safely. When activated, this technique was known to produce a notable ozone smell.

- As with many other techniques, this technique has an English name given kanji that somewhat matches the pronunciation. Usually, the kanji would be pronounced as 'Burazuma Saberu'.
- This technique was greatly inspired by the famous lightsaber weapon of the Star Wars universe. This is exemplified in Plasma Saber's appearance, cutting power, and ozone smell.
