Suīduki Hōzuki (鬼灯 推移月, Hoozuki Suiiduki, Literally meaning: Transitioning Moon, Demon Lantern) is the praised student underneath Suigetsu Hōzuki and yearns to become one of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist. Having accomplished to gain the interest of the Swordmen, Suīduki became his apprentice, along with her brother Shūgetsu Hōzuki, and are members of the newly reformed Taka. Her title as an upcoming demon has yet to be revealed.
A beautiful but treacherous nymph are the words to describe the young Hōzuki, perfectly. With that 'flawless' and extremely pale skin complexion cooped with those bloody red orbs, Suīduki, even among her clansmen, seem to have her own distinct traits. Unlike her relatives, namely Shūgetsu, she has a distinct aqua green color hair, which is cut short till the nape of her neck. To complement her fairy-like appearance, she has an unique trait; her elvish ears. Aside from these traits, Suīduki is also petite in height, while having the admired feminine build, causing her to use these traits to her advantages in combat.
Suīduki the so-called 'prodigy' child of the Hōzuki Clan has a passionate relationship with her older brother Shūgetsu. In reference to that she had been granted to excel in their Clan Hiden Techniques, Suīduki never swayed away for her love for her older brother, and always looked up to him as his little sister. She felt at ease and comfortable within his presence and could tolerate those musky men that bothered her time to time. Alas, her facade easily overshadowed her feelings through her bold personality that her mentor, Suigetsu, referred as 'a feisty one'.
Underneath all these layers to hide her infatuation for her brother lies a 'fragile' dependable girl. One that must rely on her older brother to be sane and alive. While she could have wished for all she wanted, Suīduki wanted nothing else but her brother's happiness in exchange for her own. For these reasons, Suīduki grew an undeniable love for her brother that led her to eventually have a brother-complex.
(To Haru Hyūga) "Excuse me? Yes, we are angry you broke the pot. But what we really are angry about is your inability to accept your fault in this and apologize truthfully. I believe it is time for us to part ways, Shinobi. If you believe that you are at an advantage here...I must say otherwise. Four swords against three people isn't very nice, is it?"[1]
