A powerful attack considered to be the greatest offensive ability known to man, created to destroy both the user, one's opponent and all things within the vicinity. It was originally crafted by Yamazaru Sarugami's father, Saruzake Sarugami.
Background[]
It is unclear when exactly Saruzake of Suhenmori Jungle created the infamous Suganotama. What is certain, however, is that it origins began after he learned the Sannotama and Osannotama from Sarugami, the monkey deity. Suganotama takes attributes from both those powerful techniques and combines them into one of amazing magnitude. It is actually the way in which Saruzake perished; having used the technique agaisnt forces invading Monkey Island by sea, he killed himself and those who dared attack. Brandishing the technique as reckless and far too powerful, Sarugami changed the narrative of Saruzake's death so as to erase the idea that such a formidable jutsu could be used. Still, Yamazaru somehow learned of the technique and attempted to duplicate it. It is unknown whether or not the jutsu is as powerful as his father's original.
Overview[]
Massive and imposing, the Suganotama is said to be the strongest offensive technique in existence, designed to kill the user and his or her opponents while adjusting the very scope of the environment for centuries to come. The one time it was used, a series of uninhabited dotted islands in the ocean were all eradicated. Just like the techniques in which it is based upon, Suganotama uses insanely compacted senjutsu chakra that vibrates at a controlled state. What it does that the others do not, however, is draw nature energy from the surrounding world, growing larger and larger. This is why the jutsu must be commenced or sent into the sky for development (it requires 6 posts to fully charge). The more nature energy it absorbs, the brighter the technique becomes until it shines like a bright beam or second sun in the sky.
After it is fully charged, Suganotama can be caused to either break apart into several spheres or remain as one and be told to crash down into the earth or onto a target. Whatever the case may be, it possesses the power to incinerate the hardest of materials, eradicate mountains and create lakes and rivers. It is so powerful and robust that its user in incinerated once it explodes. Sarugami claims that it can contend with a coalition Tailed Beast Ball and would flatten a major village in seconds.

- The technique is inspired by the Spirit Bomb from Dragon Ball Z.
- It is hinted that one must give a portion of their life energy to the sphere in order for it to become fully charged.
- Despite its massive power, the sphere is slow in movement when not broken up, causing it to hover over the battlefield as it comes closer to impact. This power moves the earth to rattle into the distance.
