Tactical Training Division (戦術訓練部門, Senjutsu Kunren Bumon) is a special training division in Anbu that was founded by Minato Namikaze and Ōnoki after signing the treaty. After seeing the damage done in the Third Shinobi World War, they created the division, and they were considered to be raised for the purpose of peace. The division was kept secret from the public, as to not cause controversy. At a five kage summit, the other villages also found out about the division, and soon each of the five hidden villages had developed the division in their respective Anbu units.

History

The idea behind it was peace and the intent was clear, but people would show hatred if the division was found, so it was kept private. All members of the division were unusually powerful young children, and most were orphans. After Minato Namikaze died, the division was said to be disbanded in Iwagakure and Konohagakure, but Dānzo Shimura had kept it going in secret. Dānzo contacted Ōnoki about continuing the division, and soon they agreed that all five hidden villages should have their own training unit within their own Anbu. The only kage who did not know of the division was the third hokage. After Dānzo died, the kage agreed it was best to disband the division completely, and it was never spoke of again. Unfortunately, the division was around long enough to leave its print in history. Many of the members who went through the training were still alive. Most were considered kage level, although almost all were in elite Anbu units or S-rank traveling ninja.

Many within the group also created a secret organization known as the Legendary Peace Shinobi, or 平和忍, known as the Peacekeepers. After the Fourth Shinobi World War, this organization set out to create peace among the five nations. For a majority of the Blank Period, the group was able to prevent lots of possible world wars. Dānzo had also set out a secret group of shinobi from all five villages called the Seigi Group, who's goal was to eliminate all members of the SKB if the group was disbanded. The Seigi Group kept most of the SKB members alive while they were in Anbu or other shinobi units, as they could be helpful to the villages, but once the Legendary Peace Shinobi group was created, the Seigi Group set out to destroy the evidence of the failed SKB.

Later, the Seigi Group expanded. Most of the other hidden villages believed that the SKB could create conflict or give away top secret information, so they decided to join the Seigi Group. It was decided that the group would operate out of the Kogane Family in Sunagakure, as the family is very secretive and protected by Suna. The Seigi Group later succeeded in eliminating almost all former members, although some managed to retire safely.

Training

Their training is said to be tough. Students are not allowed to take breaks, they train until they have exhausted all chakra, or they are unable to continue. They are taught skills such as reading and writing during times while they are in the Leaf Hospital due to exhaustion of chakra. They learn basic skills in hand seals, taijutsu, bukijutsu, and more. They also master all five basic nature transformations, and often master at least two others. Some are also taken into a genjutsu training division, where they learn experienced a-rank and s-rank genjutsu. Some are also taken into a dōjutsu training division, where they master their kekkei genkai or other dōjutsu. On top of this, they take jōnin, Anbu, and kage rank classes on tactical strategy and planning. Every week, they are required to run a marathon. On top of this, every day they are required to run at least a ten minute mile (keep in mind they are around two to nine years old) and from then on they must continually grow faster in their mile.

They often undergo the training of an Anbu Black Op or a jōnin before the age of nine. Many members of the SKB were not allowed to see others so they would focus on their training. On top of this, they learned to never abandon a mission. They also learned to feel no emotion, and rationally always choose what will result in mission success, at the sacrifice of all other shinobi in your group, and possibly yourself. Legend within Anbu says that an SKB member once killed all six members of his team so they wouldn't give away information about what the mission is about. The mission ended in a success.
