The Taijugan, or commonly known as Tainogan, (体眼, or Combat Eye Technique, Fighting Vision) is a Dōjutsu that enhances taijutsu immensely. It is a signature dōjutsu of those who achieve all of the 8 Inner Gates, even if seldom. The Taijugan is acquired in two ways: from the Hyūga clan or through extreme rigorous training using the Eight Gates, though it is seldom awaken through the latter, but greater control if so.
Abilities[]
1. The Tainogan allows for anyone who has opened the 8th Gate (Gate of Death) to not compensate any of the drawbacks of opening the Final Gate. This includes no bone breaking, stress on the body or the immediate death that follows after it's use. The Tainogan also enhances the power fivefold of any other jutsu deriving from any of the Eight Inner gates, such as Hirudora (昼虎, literally meaning Afternoon Tiger) or Asakujaku (朝孔雀 meaning Morning Peacock).
However, if one cannot manage to master this dōjutsu, if even acquired, in the time equal to or less than the time it took them to learn the Eight Gates, their muscles will begin to deteriorate and they will lose their vision quickly. If they master it as much as even a second afterwards, that will not stop the aftermath. On the flip side, the offspring of the user will not have a timed trial if they awaken the Taijugan first and learn the Eight Gates afterwards.
2. The Taijugan is immune any form of genjutsu from dōjutsu, leaving other forms of genjutsu effective. It can also allow the user to move as quickly as lightening itself for a short period of time, if the connection of combinations of attacks (Sekizo, Asakujaku, Hirudora) lands successfully.
