In attempt to protect the world from destruction, nine mystical creatures known as Tailed Beast Guardians were each sealed within hosts known as jinchūriki to gain enough power to once again, but permanently, defeat this foe. Through the years, each Tailed Beast have had several hosts, with the newest generation of jinchūriki being fated as the chosen ones to face this threat.
