Takeo Ryuketsu (流血猛雄 Ryuketsu Takeo) was Konoha's first Chief Medical Officer. He was one of the most prominent historical figures of the Ryuketsu Clan, having made the ultimate political decision to merge with Konohagakure. He was also distinguished as the Father of Medical Ninjutsu, a title he earned for his invaluable and lasting contributions towards the discipline which resulted in its rapid advancement. He only had one disciple, Tsunade, who continued his legacy in her name. He lived a long life nearing 120 years old, and was revered as a kind leader who had always placed the peace, safety and comfort of his clan, and village above all else.

Physical Description

Takeo was one of the most sought-after males in Konoha, going as far as being dubbed as ‘Konoha’s Shining Prince’ because of how perfectly he encapsulated the beauty standards during his time.

His face was diamond-shaped that lended to its perfect symmetry, leading to his sharp nose, thin lips and eyebrows. Takeo’s eyes were in a warm pewter shade, very wonderfully vibrant and emotional that made others feel at ease. But his signature physical feature was his luscious blonde hair that flew to his mid-waist. It was very healthy-looking, except for times where Takeo suffered extreme stress and would lose some glow; but eventually suffered from thinning when he grew older. He normally tied it up during sessions that required intense focus, but otherwise let it down, combed neatly or half-tie it.

Takeo lost out more in the bodily department, for he had a more regular height and body tone for a shinobi; although nobody faulted him for that because he was more of a medical ninja than a taijutsu master. However, that was a tricky facade to poke through, only those who have witnessed hand-to-hand combat training between Madara and Takeo would know that he held his own perfectly fine. From there, it would be safe to say that Takeo owned some ectomorph-like qualities, as his body still retained a slenderness no matter how hard he trained in taijutsu.

Unlike other males, Takeo’s attractiveness came from charms and his sense of decency. Rather than doping others with testosterone-filled sex appeal, his physical presence was light and revivifying, as if drinking from the freshest source of mountain water - which was what made him handsome no matter what age he was.

Personal Style

Because Takeo was a medical professional on most days, a medical coat topped over his black and white suit remained permanently blended into his official physical appearance, although he would wear Konoha’s jōnin attire or an added coat during missions if it was needed on a functional basis. Takeo was personally uncomfortable wearing anything else otherwise, and because he was the worst workaholic in his line of work, he didn’t need to. Only after semi-retirement, he finally considered other options of clothing - such as kimonos or hakamas, and because he later learned to appreciate expensive fabric, he became the trendiest elder in the village, dressed in the best looking design doused in exquisite monochromatic colors.

• Despite Takeo personally disapproving of it, he gave his blessings as a Sensei for Tsunade to develop her life's work, the Creation Rebirth technique.
• His name 'Takeo' (猛雄) means 'fierce, brave' which can be very ironic due to his extremely pacifist nature, unless scrutinised much closer.
