The Tamatebako is a unique Kekkei Tōta of the Rasen Clan's Otonari Branch. It allows the user manifest surreal phenomenon into the real world, and even seal away targets. Targets that are sealed are trapped in a world that surpasses metaphysical conception, where reality and fantasy are one in the same.
Acquisition[]
Despite being a Kekkei Tōta, the bloodline can't be willingly taught and obtained by others, but is immediately "inherited" when another clan member with it dies. Due to this, all members are born with the ability to utilize the bloodline, but it will only unlock when another wielder dies. The Tamatebako naturally skips awakening within every other family member. The reason this occurs is currently unknown.
Usage[]
The Otonari Branch were exceptionally feared for the Tamatebako, as its surreal abilities made it an extremely deadly bloodline, even in the most minuscule of applications. Unlike the Kurama Clan's Kekkei Genkai, this bloodline doesn't cast genjutsu onto the opponent and fools their mind into thinking its real. Instead, it brings the user's imagination to life and blends it with reality itself, letting it run wild in a surreal fashion. Wielders of the Kekkei Tōta would utilize the bloodline in offensive fashions by killing opponents with their imaginations manifested into the real world, or alternatively, by sealing them within the box in a world of fantasy. Upon being sealed within, escape becomes impossible by all means as the target becomes a mere fragment of said user's imagination. Using it in a defensive matter, the user would control the environment by giving it life, similar to the usage of the Sage Art: Inorganic Reincarnation. When used in a supplementary fashion, the user is able to enhance themselves with the power of their kekkei tōta, allowing them to defy the very laws the shinobi world is governed by. The sheer number of applications of the Kekkei Tōta is truly limitless.

- If a wielder hasn't absorbed the essence of another Tamatebako, they possess a First Generation Tamatebako
- If they absorb the essence of a single Tamatebako, they are said to possesses a Second Generation Tamatebako.
- If they absorb the essence of a second one, they possess a Third Generation Tamatebako.
- If they absorb the essence of a third one, they possess a Complete Tamatebako.
