Team Koto is an ANBU team of Otogakure formed under the leadership of Fukurō Taketori.
Background[]
Nogijoshi, Hirajoshi, & Gakujoshi are created in Orochimaru's Lab
Orochimaru continued his pursuit of forbidden knowledge. His ambitions for immortality and mastery over the human form led him to a groundbreaking project—a series of synthetic humans designed to be the ultimate warriors. The trio—Nogijoshi, Hirajoshi, and Gakujoshi—were the fruits of his labor. Born from a cloning process based on the DNA of Shiinshiki Ōtsutsuki, they were meant to embody the pinnacle of human evolution. However, their creation was anything but perfect. Considered a failure by Orochimaru, no member of Team Koto had the ability to use Ninjutsu or Genjutsu.
Though Orochimaru dismissed them, the triplets refused to be defined by their creator's lack of vision. Resilient and curious, they sought new paths to prove themselves. With their unique biology, they excelled in physical strength, reflexes, and mental fortitude. They trained tirelessly, discovering their own unique abilities, like enhanced sensory perception and extreme stamina, as well as an uncanny ability to work in unison as a team. They learned quickly that the power of strategy, teamwork, and sheer will could make up for what they lacked in traditional jutsu. They completed the Otogakure ANBU Training Programand are assigned Fukurō Taketori as their Jonin leader.

All the brothers wear custom grey flack jackets with a sword attached to their backs and the symbol of Otogakure on their chest. When on mission they each wear a different colored ANBU masks and tan cloaks. Each mask is installed with an ear piece and connected directly to K.O.E.

As a synthetic clone of an Ōtsutsuki, each brother can heal from minor injuries within seconds with no lingering signs, regenerate lost limbs over time, and do not require food or water for sustenance. Their physical body structures are exceptionally resilient, able to endure more damage than most.
Taijutsu[]
Because they had little talent in ninjutsu and genjutsu their training was dedicated to perfecting their taijutsu.
Bukijutsu[]
Team Koto's Chakra Blade
This team is highly specialized in the use of weapons, specifically Scientific ninja tools like S.S.Gs, EMPs and Pisutoru. Team Koto is also highly skilled in Kenjutsu, having trained under the famed "Nohkan Shinobi". They display great physical strength and precision in thier sword attacks, slicing through and shattering several boulders with only a single strike. They also use other weapons such as Wire Strings.
New Era[]
School Trip Arc[]
Arikurin finds Ken Hatake lurking
To improve relationships with other villages and symbolically show the warring era was over, Naruto set up an official class trip for the Academy to go to Otogakure. Later, Team Koto sends word of someone lurking around Otogakure ANBU HQ. Arikurin later finds this to be, Ken Hatake. He arrives with intel from the Five Great Countries' Joint Investigation Team. Shizuma Hoshigaki began efforts to start a revolution against the Sixth Mizukage and his new peaceful era. The intel revealed that Shizuma's high echelon associates have secretly been dealing with the Land of Waves. It also helped clear Chōjūrō of the false allegations of him killing people against the peace treaties. Team Koto is later sent to Kirigakure.
Chunin Exam Arc[]
Having qualified for the Chūnin Exams, Fukurō Taketori escorts Team Koto to the Five Great Shinobi Countries sponsored exams in Konohagakure. There, the triplets bypassed all obstacles on their route. After arriving at Exam Venue B, the team participated in a true or false question, which resulted in all competitors falling into a pit which contained a pool of ink. Not falling into the ink, the team passed the first round of the Chūnin Exams. Three days later, for the second round of the exams, Team Koto competed in a game of capture the flag. They were unable to defeat Shinki who captured their flag, resulting in his team being disqualified. During the finals, they are interrupted by the arrival of Momoshiki and Kinshiki, the later which assaults the arena. While everyone is evacuating the citizens, Momoshiki approaches Naruto, and kicks him away. Boruto attacks him through his Kote, but his techniques are all absorbed. Mitsuki decides to help Boruto, using his Sage Mode, but he is ambushed by Urashiki, who steals his power. Before he approaches Mitsuki, he is ambushed by Gaara and Chōjūrō. This allows for Team Koto to grab Mitsuki and bring him back to Otogakure.
