Team Suien (水煙班, Suien-Han) was the team of missing-nin lead by Suien, consisting of Hisame, Kirisame, and Murasame. There were also nine unnamed foot soldiers.
Background[]
Team Suien were shinobi of Takigakure, with Suien becoming a jōnin. He hungered after the Hero Water that enhanced the chakra and the abilities of Takigakure’s shinobi. Gathering nine faceless grunts, he assaulted Takigakure through its hidden entrance and took hostages, exchanging them for the Hero Water brought by its leader, Senji. After acquiring the Hero Water, Team Suien wreaked havoc across the nearby Land of Fire, prompting members of Team Ro led by Toshirō Shunsoku. He and Kakashi Hatake together fought and defeated Suien and three of their nine goons. Itachi Uchiha fought and killed Hisame and three nameless comrades. Tenzō faced off against Kirisame and remaining three unknown men.
