A very simple technique used by Asu, that causes a temporary mutation of the face, eyes, ears, olfaction and throat. This technique requires a single hand sign as Asu's unique chakra and existential astral energy is collected across his face with its highest center being just above the crown chakra. After this is done black scale formations will begin to grow as Asu's face begins to morph on a genetic level and metaphysical level. Once the mask is completed it will resemble the face of a demon, including sharp horns that protrude from the skull and the peculiar third-eye that is equidistant to the pineal gland . His voice will also change reflecting a darker and more sinister tone that resonates through the physical and metaphysical environment, inflicting all of those whom hear his voice under those from the Evil Intent.

This technique though non-offensive does have its advantages. The mask's selective permeability helps prevent excessive water from reaching the mouth and nose. This allows Asu to breathe underwater or in conditions were the air around him has become contaminated such as miasma or biological contaminants. Though a simple technique it does have its disadvantages. Which it has a limited effectiveness under normal conditions, and with prolonged use could cause Asu to suffocate. This technique is highly similar to Gaoh Minazuki's Golden Mask of the Covenant technique, which serves as a chakra dampener as well as a instinctual dampener. This allows for the user to be undetectable through normal sensing methods and even those capable sensing emotions however, the user is still visible through normal eyesight.
By this I mean, the mask can be use to suppress Asu's negative intentions and emotions, giving off the aura of someone who truly doesn't exist, as no emotions or instincts can be sensed. The secondary effect of dampening one's chakra or rather suppressing it to the point where Asu cannot be sensed thorough any method, as his dark chakra signature is completely erased. The only methods to get pass this technique is the visually locate Asu using any form of sight that is capable of accessing astral energy. The biological mask also grants Asu Rashoujin and Shuten Dōji a third eye which allows him to see into the past, present and near future at all times. This third eye, also grants him a 360 degree field of vision with the clarity and the visual prowess of a mastered Byakugan. Along with the increased visual prowess, the third eye also function as a instinctive protector against genjutsu as the mask automatically protects foreign chakra from entering the user. However, this is not needed due to Asu's all-corrupting chakra as it is able to alter the foreign chakra the moment it makes contact with his physical form or his astral form.
The mask is also highly durable against even Chakra Enhanced Strength by the most powerful of combatants. Since the mask suppresses Asu's chakra network to the point where it is almost non existent, techniques using Genjutsu are of no affect to this mask or to any other physical or astral form of Asu's being. This makes the mask one of Asu's most useful techniques, as it is no taxing on the users chakra and it multiple beneficial effects to the user. When combined with the The Way of the Evil Path: Sacred Armor of the Flagitious Abyss technique, Asu is absolutely unstoppable and is capable of taking on the shinobi alliance by himself. Shuten Dōji uses this technique infrequently during battle as his Devil's Brew can reproduce the same effects. Though in any case, his variation is just as powerful and perhaps more dangerous as his third eye proves matchless when combined with his Divine Oni Arts and The Way of the Hunger Path. The method of seeing into the past proves of no use to the oni, therefore, he focuses the part of sight that would be focused on the past is instead applied to the future and present respectively. Shuten Dōji has figured out that if you close of the visual receiver's to one part in time, that you can transfer the sight to other cones and enhance their visual prowess. This is an ability that requires the highest caliber of focus and one that can be seldom used in the heat of battle. Seeing into the future grant's Shuten Dōji and Asu Rashoujin virtual invulnerability as they inadvertently counter any form of attack akin to the battlefield being on enormous game of Shogi (将棋).
