In principle, this technique works similarly to the Flying Thunder God Technique as it is a reverse Summoning based on a particular Fūinjutsu formula. The user melds the seal with their Dark Release chakra, exuding an aura of dark energy that they can then project wherever they wish to teleport to. Warping to the seal, the darkness envelops the user. Using this technique is somewhat slower than the legendary Flying Thunder God, and in the moment it takes for the user to materialize, there is a brief instance of invulnerability. Tetsuya is also able to take advantage of natural shadows with this technique, simply projecting his seal through them.
