The Thunder Dance (サンダーダンス, Sandādansu) is a form of taijutsu and kenjutsu that requires a vast amount of chakra—specifically a vast amount from the Rōtasumāku—to perform and master it. It was first invented by the progenitor of the Shunsoku clan, Raikō Shunsoku. Legend has it that Raikō Shunsoku wanted overcame his fear of lightning, so he trained and harnessed the power of Rōtasumāku and his Rōtasugan to develope his own martial art and swordsmanship skills, relying on speed and efficiency. He taught the rest of his clan who became one of the fastest and deadliest shinobi at the end of the Warring States Period but just before the establishment of any hidden village.
According to Shindō, a single Shunsoku clan member, at their prime, can contend with any Kage or bijū by themselves, earning the Shunsoku clan the moniker Tailed Beast Clan Without a Tail.
Even after the Fourth Shinobi World War, Shindō kept all his shinobi skills as sharp where no one can stand in his way and wished to pass it on to the next generation.
