After forming the necessary hand seals, the user slams their hand on the ground after which a sealing formula, that originates from the user's hand, forms under the target. When the seal activates, anything on it is sealed within the formula itself.

Toshiro Uzumaki has found a way to perform the seal from a prepared scroll.

However, Arata found a way to develop this technique by using it in conjuction with his Yang Release: Barrier, allowing him to absorb any chakra based attack.
