A dōjutsu only manifested in those of both Hyūga and Uzumaki blood, this Kekkei Genkai was unheard of until Hyūga Kato unlocked her own Uzutsuyogan.
While the Uzutsuyogan appears similar to the Byakugan, it is a separate Kekkei Genkai, which shows itself when the massive powers of the Uzumaki Clan are forced into active Byakugan. The Byakugan recedes, and the Uzutsuyogan forms. Because of this unique activation, a popular misconception is that the Uzutsuyogan is a stage of the Byakugan.
Abilities[]
When the Uzutsuyogan first shows itself, the user will notice that their Byakugan-enhanced vision recedes. It is common for the user to panic when this happens- they feel the chakra going into their eyes, but their Kekkei Genkai seems dysfunctional. Upon further inspection, however, the user will find that their vision is enhanced- but in a different way. Uzutsuyogan wielders are able to see chakra and chakra traces, similar to what sensor-type ninja like Karin see. Aside from this, they can see life force itself- meaning even trees give off a unique signature.
Activation[]
The Uzustuyogan is activated after both experiencing a traumatic event while using the Byakugan. If these conditions are not met, the Uzutsuyogan will remain dormant.
Known Users[]
The only known users are Hyūga Kato, Uzumaki Boruto (journal129), Uzumaki Himawari (journal129), Uzumaki Mizuke, Uzumaki Moruto, Rock Fuji, and Rock Tian.
