Water Release: Misty Moonlit Scabbard Technique (水遁・朧鞘の術, Suiton: Oborosaya no Jutsu) is a Water Release technique which enables the user to camouflage objects other than themselves. Working under a similar principle to the Dustless Bewildering Cover technique, the user is able to employ fine chakra control in order to manipulate water in such a manner that light refracts from the object in question. In turn, the chakra presence and physical form of the object are concealed by the technique, making it exceedingly difficult to perceive. However, due to requiring very precise control, the larger the object, and the further away it is from the user, the less camouflaged it will be. While its physical form will not be completely revealed, distortions in the air can be perceived by the naked eye if one concentrates enough in the midst of battle.
