The user manipulates any form of moisture in the ground or on the surface to 'glue' the user's feet to the ground, rendering them incapable of moving out of a fixed zone, making them vulnerable to attack; while also gradually pulling them below the surface like quicksand. The user can still move their other limbs however, and coordinate their defences. This technique is especially powerful on the surface of water or highly muddy surfaces, and the hold is virtually inescapable. On normal soil however, an enemy of sufficient brute strength can break through the hold after a sizeable effort.
