Taking advantage of the fact that each person's chakra is made of both yin and yang components, Ryun uses the life energy of a person's yang-portion in order to sprout a forest of trees; killing the target instantly in the process, as their life-energy is used in the formation of the trees.
Human life energy isn't the only form of life energy can be used. Plant life, animal life, or even other techniques (since all techniques, regardless of nature, are made up of yin and yang to produce the chakra necessary), which can then be converted into trees for this technique.
Influences[]
Aokigahara (青木ヶ原), also known as the Sea of Trees (樹海, Jukai), is a 35-square-kilometer (14 sq mi) forest that lies at the northwest base of Mount Fuji in Japan. The forest has a historic association with demons in Japanese mythology and is a popular place for suicides (54 in 2010) despite numerous signs, in Japanese and English, urging people to reconsider their actions.
