After forming the hand seals, the user moves the trees so the target will not attack or escape from the user. This is sometimes confused as a Genjutsu but the user actually moves the trees. This technique can be used to confuse an opponent by having them travel in a circle for hours. Another use is a way to trap an enemy by creating walls of trees to bar the opponent's path. The target is unable to jump through the tree branches because the branches become too close together for a person to get through.
