The Yūmei Clan (幽冥一族, Yūmei Ichizoku) was one of the very first ninja clans in existence whose members were considered unparalleled for their mastery of ninjutsu and their kekkei genkai, the Mashieisō. They, along with the Murakami Clan, were responsible for the foundation of Kagegakure.
