Yang Release: Water Curtain (陽遁・帳水, Yōton: Chōzu) is a technique devised by Shuten and one of his strongest expressions of Water Release. By using pre-existing water and subsequently empowering it with his own life-empowered chakra following its collection into a spherical shape surrounding him, Shuten can potentially cause almost all assaults to be void against his being due to the reinforced density of the water as a result of its constant replenishment. However, while it can be broken by a superior force, most ordinary Shinobi are unable to conjure that much force in a single go, which is necessary given the nature of the technique.
