While at first glance it may seem like a Yin based technique, the Yin Blotting (---,---) is a rather simple yet effective Yang Release technique developed by Keshin Amanojaku during his days in Shimogakure. After being taught by the Shimokage himself that all living things are comprised of both Yin and Yang energies. This led the boy to experiment with his own chakra and its effect on living things. Over time he discovered that both Yin and Yang interact with each other in curious ways. This led to him developing Yin Blotting. By focusing a small yet concentrated amount of Yang chakra, the user can draw the Yin energy from whatever living thing they have come into contact with. Yin, being the energy that creates and maintains form, makes up the physical body of all. In short, Keshin can cause the body of whomever he touches to erode while under the effect of his technique.
This technique can be compared to the All-Killing Ash Bones technique used by some in the Kaguya Clan. But unlike this technique, it is not a "sure-kill". If the victim can separate themselves from Keshin, then the damage will cease to occur. It does not infect the opponent like the All-Killing Ash Bones does.
